Meet AVA:
AVA Collective was created in the summer of 2018. The three of us became good friends in the Fashion Program at Buffalo State University. After graduating in 16’ and 17’ with degrees in Apparel Design, we were looking for something different in Buffalo. We wanted a platform for local creatives, makers, and small businesses to come together. AVA Collective is a way for us to showcase our work alongside other artists, share our experiences, and support one another! Look out for our next pop-up!
Ashton Warner
is our main line of communication and our Logistics Master. Outside of AVA, she is the creator and designer of local womenswear line, ARW @_arw_ny Each piece is handcrafted with every body shape in mind and is constructed with high quality techniques, from start to finish in her North Buffalo studio. You can find her pieces on arwnydesign.com
When Ashton isn’t in her studio working, you can find her watching the same few television series on repeat with her kitty babies, or hanging out with friends at cool restaurants all over the city!
Veronica Allis
is our head of Marketing. Outside of AVA, she is a High School Art Teacher. She is currently working towards getting a Masters in Creativity and Change Leadership at Buffalo State University.
When Veronica isn’t busy as a bee, you can find her working on her own artwork, cooking with her husband, learning another new hobby, or taking a much needed nap with her cats, Harley and Juniper.
Anna Dusza
is our head of Social Media. Outside of AVA, she is currently getting back to the basics and reinvigorating her love for design. In a world that has become so disposable, she believes in creating with intention and keeping the planet in mind. She's getting back to working on things she loves, so go follow her new design page @byannadusza and watch her create whatever she wants!
When Anna isn’t working away, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, thrifting something fabulous, cozying up on the couch for a scary movie, or perhaps most important, enjoying good food and drinks.
